Winner of the Swiss Technology Award 2014

Aeon Scientific has received this year’s Swiss Technology Award in the category “Start-up”. With the award the jury that consisted of experts from industry and academia recognized the achievements of the company in the development of the Aeon Phocus, a catheter steering system for treating cardiac arrhythmias. Besides this initial application it is the goal of the company to establish the system as a platform for a multitude of medical applications in the future.
The award was handed over to the CEO of Aeon Scientific, Dominik Bell, during the 9th Swiss Innovation Forum at the Congress Center in Basel. It is considered as the most important prize for innovation and technological transfer in Switzerland.
Dominik Bell said: It is an honor for Aeon to be awarded this prize, which recognizes our innovative system and advanced technology. It is a prestigious award, and many good companies with innovative products submitted their applications. This success shows the merits of a dedicated team working with outstanding motivation. I want to thank all of them for their contribution and tremendous work.
